Spring Events at St. Christopher's

Winter has passed into spring, with lots happening outdoors. As we pass through the season of Lent and on towards Easter, there’s a lot going on at St. Christopher’s. Here are several ways you can get involved.

Easter Lilies – Help beautify the church at Easter by “donating” an Easter lily, and designate it in thanksgiving for special blessings or in honor of a loved one. Find sign-up sheets and contribution envelopes in the church kitchen. Be sure to sign up by Tuesday March 27 to get your information in the Easter Sunday bulletin.

Clean-up Day March 24th – Speaking of beautifying the church, come spend an hour or two Saturday March 24th starting at 9 a.m. as we spruce up the church and grounds. Your helping hands will make a positive difference for everyone!

Holy Week Services – Walk in the way of the cross, and find it the way of life and peace. Join us for special services from Palm Sunday through Easter. A complete schedule of services is posted here.

Coffee Hour – Before we “go in peace to love and serve the Lord” after the Sunday service, it’s nice to gather and socialize in the parish hall – and even better when there are snacks and beverages to enjoy! It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate – just a box of doughnuts or a package of cookies, and some tea or coffee. You can partner up with someone else in the parish to make it even easier. Supplies like paper plates, coffee, etc. are usually on-hand. Ask an old-timer if you’re not sure what’s what. It’s easy! Just add your name to the sign-up sheet in the kitchen, and bring something for coffee hour.

Spring Golf Outing – Dust off your clubs! Spring is a great time to get out on the links. St. Christopher’s will be holding a golf outing and cook-out April 15th. Stay tuned for more about this fun event. All members and friends of St. Christopher’s are invited to golf or just enjoy the cook-out afterwards.
