Ministries at St. Christopher's

Second Sunday Cinema

Join your host David Chamberlain on the second Sunday of each month for a movie in the parish hall followed by group discussion. Bring your friends and your favorite snacks. Show time is at 4 p.m.

Grief and Loss Group

The Grief and Loss group will meet January 10th from 3 - 4 p.m. in the parish hall.  We'll discuss how we got through Christmas, and how we will get through the new year. If you have suffered the loss of a loved one, or any other significant loss, come join us. For more information, contact parish nurse Deborah Warner at 478-987-2476.

Path to Shine

Path To Shine is a once-weekly after school mentoring program for at-risk and under-served elementary school children.  Students meet Mondays from 4:15 – 6:15 for help with homework, reading and math, plus a snack and playtime.

Messy Church

Messy Church meets one Saturday a month at 5 p.m. for an hour of stories, music, crafts, a simple supper and kid-friendly Eucharist. Bring the kids and come as you are. Fun for pre-K through primary grades, and their favorite adults. Watch this space for the date of the next Messy Church.

Daughters of the King

The Saint Monica chapter of the Daughters of the King meets at 3:30 on the second Wednesday of every month. We focus on prayer, service, and evangelism in a variety of ways. If you want to know more about the DOK's "rule of prayer" and "rule of service," drop in on a meeting, or look for leaflets in the parish hall. All women and girls are welcome.

Christian Formation (Bible Study)

Adult Christian formation takes place Wednesday evenings following the 6 p.m. Eucharist. Meet in the parish hall around 6:30. Feel free to drop in any Wednesday evening as your schedule permits. (We are taking a break Easter week. Christian formation will resume on April 26.)

Holy Eucharist Sundays at 10am (Nursery Provided)

Holy Eucharist and Healing Wednesdays at 6pm
